You can throw together this recipe faster than you can drive across town to the nearest BBQ joint. I usually make a double batch as this freezes very well.

Pulled Pork

You can throw together this recipe faster than you can drive across town to the nearest BBQ joint. I usually make a double batch as this freezes very well.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound country style boneless pork ribs
  • 1 cup bbq sauce
  • 20 ounces root beer
  • 1 medium onion peeled, quartered
  • 8 hamburger buns toasted

Directions:

  1. Place ribs and onion in crockpot and pour root beer over them.
  2. Cook on low 6 hours.
  3. Remove ribs from crock-pot and drain liquid and onion.
  4. Shred ribs to desired thickness and place back in crock-pot.
  5. Add bbq sauce and continue to cook on high for 1 hour.
  6. Serve on toasted hamburger buns.
