A quick fix when you are craving take out. This is very easy to throw together in a few minutes. I like this served over Birdseye Steamfresh Long Grain White Rice with Mixed Vegetables as shown in the photo.

Easy Orange Chicken

A quick fix when you are craving take out. This is very easy to throw together in a few minutes. I like this served over Birdseye Steamfresh Long Grain White Rice with Mixed Vegetables as shown in the photo.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups popcorn chicken
  • 1/2 cup orange marmalade
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper

Directions:

  1. Prepare popcorn chicken according to package instructions (bake or fry).
  2. While chicken is cooking combine marmalade, soy sauce and mustard into a food processor (or blender) until orange rinds are no longer visible.
  3. Stir in crushed red pepper and heat sauce in microwave until warm, do not overheat.
  4. Pour sauce into a bowl, add cooked chicken and fold until all chicken pieces are coated evenly.
  5. Serve over rice of your choice.
