I've always liked rice pudding, even as a kid. I had some rice left from my sister's birthday dinner, and everything else needed for this recipe I had on hand. This is an inexpensive, quick and easy dessert when you're craving something sweet.

My stepfather use to make this all the time. We usually had it served over boiled potatoes and had it for the dinner meal. Since I was wanting to have it for brunch, I served it over a biscuit with browned ham. I know most would think the combination of white gravy with carrots and hard boiled eggs is a bit odd. It's very good, you really should give it a try. Another great recipe for left over Easter ham.

This was really very tasty. My daughter ate some and dipped hers in maple syrup. I drizzled some bbq sauce over my slice and it was very good that way as well. You could assemble this the night before, just cover the bundt pan with plastic wrap to avoid the dough drying out and keep it in the refrigerator.

This is the first time I have ever had or made soda bread. It's a very dense bread (or at least mine was), but it was very good. I loved the combination of the sweetness of the raisins and the nuttiness of the caraway seeds.

When I was a preschooler, there was an elderly woman who lived a couple of houses down. My sister and I would play under her large cedar tree and she would bake goodies for us. Her banana cake has been on my mind for over 40 years. I finally found one that taste just like hers. I'm in heaven!

I've had this colorful fruit salad many times at cookouts and potlucks. I had some cottage cheese that I had to use up, so this dish came to mind. I couldn't wait for it to completely set before I dug in.

This is great for a weekend breakfast. I had some leftover steak from last night which was perfect for breakfast. I put the salsa inside of my wrap, but you could also top the wrap with it and eat it with utensils. You can throw this together in less than 5 minutes.

The pudding mixed with the brown sugar and butter creates a rich caramel flavor. The base that hold this monkey bread together is creamier and thicker than other breads made without the pudding. You could mix it up a bit and use butterscotch pudding instead of vanilla.

This monkey bread was so good. It reminded me of a garden vegetable pizza without the sauce. You could dip this bread in marinara sauce if you'd like. I dipped it in my cauliflower soup. What a great snack too and a good way to get kids to eat their veggies.

Two tours to Iraq and both times my son returned home, this is the first thing he wanted me to cook for him. Silly boy! I used to make these little breakfast sandwiches for my kids all the time. They are quick, tasty and can be consumed on the go. All three of my children have continued the tradition of making these for their families. The dipping sauce was added recently to my recipe, as was the term "slider".
